Right vs Left Colorectal Cancer

Colorectal Cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer worldwide with a high mortality rate at the advanced stages. Around 1 in 20 people develop colorectal cancer and 90% of diagnosed cases are in people who are over the age of 60 in the UK. However, the treatment of colorectal cancer is heavily reliant on the anatomical position of the tumour within the bowel.
